As I had mentioned before we are a novelty to the Chinese people we encounter along our travels.
Each time we stop as a group of 37, we are videoed and photographed.
It is quite interesting and a wee bit odd, but they are adorable about it.
Our group leader thought we might like to see an authentic Chinese food market. I want to say that these were not served to us during any of our meals. Everyone could eat the chinese food we enjoyed at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
But this is the real China.
Crab legs above. Huge and looked very yummy.
Squid above before deep frying and after on a stick. I would totally eat that.
I believe this could be soft shelled crab....but not certain. No english here.
Definitely no to this delicacy below?
But a huge YES to ice cream with decorative fruit!!!!
Deep fried scampi or shrimp.....yummy....but didn't try it.
Oh yeah.....scorpions on a stick.....don't worry they are deep fried.
Come on....who wants to try them out???
And last but not least....ducks? Quails? Chickens?
Not sure.
Quite an interesting look into 'fast food' Chinese style.
