The Summer Palace of the Emperor. In a word....'gorgeous.'
It is set on an area of about 2.9 km. Most of which is water.
Lakes, gardens and palaces.
A few gentlemen were showing their talents of writing in Chinese, with water and a huge brush, on the pavement. Not for any other reason but because they could.
The offer of money was refused with respect.
Incredible architecture throughout.
Twins...just saying.
I could have just sat here and watched the people coming and going.
While here I purchased a neat object that is used to make beautiful music.
No english here but I understood what the merchant was trying to explain.
The sound was so calming.
Never enough time to soak it in.....but we tried.
Below the adorable Chinese people taking photos and videos of our 'funny looking' group again.
